Payment Policy

This policy covers payments for Yamamoto Travel tours, planning, custom itineraries, consultations, travel support, and related services. The price and payment schedule communicated for a specific booking govern that booking.

Prices are shown in Japanese yen (JPY) unless another currency is stated. Displayed prices include applicable consumption tax unless otherwise stated.

Price depends on the confirmed service, duration, group size, vehicle, itinerary, inclusions, and requested additions. A quotation covers only the services described in it.

A quote does not reserve availability unless it says otherwise. Pricing and availability may change before confirmation.

Depending on the service, payment may be required in full, by deposit and balance, or under another schedule shown before booking. There is no universal deposit percentage or balance deadline. An inquiry, payment attempt, or booking request is not a confirmed booking; confirmation follows the process communicated for that service.

Yamamoto Travel’s online payment system is based on Stripe. Depending on the transaction and current payment setup, available methods may include credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal where supported. Osaka bookings use the methods shown in the Bókun checkout.

Payment processing fees are included in the listed or quoted price unless specified. Bank-transfer fees, if applicable, are paid by the customer. The available method is shown on the relevant invoice, payment link, booking interface, or checkout page.

Yamamoto Travel may send an invoice, authorized payment link, checkout page, or QR code. Do not send complete card details by email, WhatsApp, or the contact form.

A payment may fail or require verification because of the issuer, provider, security checks, authentication, or technical issues. A booking is not treated as paid until payment succeeds or is otherwise confirmed.

Extra charges may apply to customer-requested tour extensions, additional hours, vehicle changes, added activities, extra planning, or other services beyond the confirmed scope. Pricing will be communicated before the addition where practical.

Transportation and attraction entry fees are not included unless the product details or quotation expressly include them.

A card issuer, bank, or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate, international transaction fee, or currency-conversion charge. Those amounts are outside Yamamoto Travel’s control and may differ from public exchange rates.

Tours may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour. For private-vehicle bookings, the vehicle component may be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before the tour. Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method; the payment provider or bank controls when the funds appear. See Cancellation & Refunds.

If an amount is wrong, duplicated, or unfamiliar, contact Yamamoto Travel promptly with the booking name, service, approximate payment date, and issue. Do not send a complete card number, security code, or password.

Yamamoto Travel may work with the payment provider and provide relevant booking and transaction records when handling a payment dispute. This does not limit rights available through the customer’s issuer or applicable law.

New prices do not change an already-confirmed booking. An obvious price error may be corrected before confirmation. If a material error is found after payment or confirmation, Yamamoto Travel will contact the customer and seek a lawful, reasonable resolution.
