Cancellation & Refunds
How cancellations, booking changes, refunds, and disruptions are handled for Yamamoto Travel services.
Last updated August 16, 2026
Free-Cancellation Windows
Tours may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
For bookings involving a private vehicle, the vehicle component may be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before the tour. This earlier window applies to the vehicle component and does not automatically cancel the guided tour unless that is necessary for the specific booking.
How to Cancel
An inquiry, quote, or request is not a confirmed booking. To cancel a confirmed booking, contact Yamamoto Travel as soon as possible using the communication method already used for the booking or email contact@yamamototravel.com. Include the booking name, service, date, and requested cancellation. The cancellation is received when it reaches Yamamoto Travel through that method.
Customer-Requested Changes
Changes to the date, time, group size, duration, vehicle, route, pickup, or service are subject to availability and third-party conditions. A change may affect the price. A major change may require cancelling the original booking and making a new one.
Late Arrival, No-Shows, and Extensions
Contact us promptly if you expect to be late. A delayed tour may still finish at the confirmed time. No-show refund treatment follows the booking-specific terms. Additional time is subject to guide and vehicle availability and may involve a charge communicated before the extension where practical.
Weather, Transport, and Safety
Weather or transport disruption does not automatically cancel a tour. Yamamoto Travel may adjust the route, timing, meeting point, or outdoor activity; offer rescheduling where practical; or cancel when conditions create a serious safety or operating problem. Refund treatment depends on the booking terms, recoverable costs, circumstances, and applicable law.
Cancellation by Yamamoto Travel
If Yamamoto Travel cannot provide the booked service, it will offer an appropriate response based on the circumstances. This may be rescheduling, an agreed alternative, or a refund for the affected Yamamoto Travel service. Unrelated travel expenses are not covered unless required by law.
Planning Work
Planning and custom-itinerary services involve work before travel. Work already completed may affect the refundable amount where this is consistent with the service terms and applicable law.
Partial Use and Digital Products
Voluntarily leaving a tour early or skipping part of a provided service does not automatically create a partial refund. If digital products are offered, any product-specific cancellation rules will be displayed before purchase.
Refunds
Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method. Banks and payment providers control how long funds take to appear and may apply their own exchange rates or international charges. Yamamoto Travel does not set a fixed external processing time.
